Gizmodo's Shooting Challenge: Monotones

The rules:

Capture a photo with either a single color, or very few colors within the same family. Just do us one favor and avoid traditional B&W photography known as monochrome and filters like sepia. There’s always time for that later. Base the monotone off your subject and its setting….

…Once you figure out your particular photo’s crop, it’s not just color, but texture and light that will make your photo pop…
