When French foreign minister Alain Juppé said he hoped the airstrikes in Libya and the “boisterous quest for freedom and democracy” in the Arab world would serve as a warning to autocratic regimes elsewhere, including in Syria and Saudi Arabia, Jihadis at the Chechen insurgent website Kavkaz Center, were not amused:
French foreign minister, war criminal Juppe Allen, actually threatened at a press conference on Thursday with aerial bombardments of Saudi Arabia and Syria.
The terrorist said that the crusade in Libya should become an example for Saudi Arabia, Syria and other countries, Al Jazeera reports in its blog.
The criminal also stressed that the attacks on Libya can last “days, weeks, but not months”.
It is to be mentioned in this context that the statement by the foreign minister, who openly threatened with bombings of Saudi Arabia, considered to be a “reliable ally of the United States”, can be described as a political sensation.
This article is interesting because it shows that these jihadis are outraged by any slight against Saudi Arabia, the “reliable ally of the United States” that most authorities claim is threatened by terrorism.
It’s also interesting in that Kavkaz’s misspelling (“Juppe Allen”) of Alain Juppé’s name offer an easy google search to show the sites that follow the Kavkaz center.
The Sydney Muslim Youth repeated the report, with the conclusion: “Would you not fight people who violated their treaties, tried to banish the messenger, and they are the ones who started the war in the first place? Are you afraid of them? GOD is the One you are supposed to fear, if you are believers, You shall fight them, for GOD will punish them at your hands, humiliate them, grant you victory over them, and cool the chests of the believers. (9:13-14)”
The James Randi Educational Foundation (a place to discuss skepticism, critical thinking, the paranormal and science in a friendly and lively way) is following Kavkaz – and they’re also outraged by Juppe Allen and the “propaganda war” against the KSA.
